Time heals.
It's such a common response when we come across someone in the midst of trauma or grief.
Yet, in our physical bodies, we know that time doesn't always heal things well.
Broken bones need attention, or long term healed-damage is the result.
In the same way, broken spirits need to be well supported to ensure they mend in a truly healed way.
I'm just loving these lines from Thrity Umrigar's novel, The Space Between Us (well worth reading!).
Umrigar speaks so powerfully to our ability to heal.
But to heal poorly.
And to heal-damaged.
If you, or someone you love, has a broken spirit, do ensure their spirit receives the loving support it needs to heal well.
