This is a fascinating docu on a fascinating, world renown long-term study that has been made into behaviour, health and life outcomes.
The study began in Dunedin in 1972, when all the children born in the next year in Dunedin New Zealand were invited into a research programme. Forty years on, 96% of candidates are still participating. This high rate of ongoing participation, and the length of the study, makes it globally notable. WHO, the UN and world policy makers refer to this study as the source of their information.
It has fascinating insights into predictors of health and well being, and affirms the great value of the early years.
